Once again, we are attending the RIES2024 Forum, which will be held on November 13th and 14th in Guitiriz. This year’s theme is “Towards the Future of Health.”
Led by the Galicia Health Cluster (CSG), RIES has been established as a forum for interaction among the key players in the healthcare and social care sectors, both public and private, on national and international levels, in collaboration with its strategic partners within the #CSGCommunity.
This edition will focus on four key pillars that will guide the conversations, collaborations, and discoveries:
Personalized and Advanced Medicine
The development of individualized medical treatments is emerging as the approach to tackle a range of global health challenges. We will review the latest advances in this area.
Biomedicine
Scientific research and development in molecular biology, biochemistry, and pharmacology are currently paving the way for creating new therapies, drugs, and technologies to improve health.
Hybrid Care
Combining in-person and digital healthcare, with telemedicine and remote monitoring, enhances accessibility and efficiency of care. It enables quality care from any location, thereby improving clinical outcomes.
Circular Health
Circular health is a strategy that applies the principles of the circular economy to the healthcare system, aiming to maximize sustainability and minimize environmental impact. This approach focuses on resource optimization through reuse, recycling, and efficient waste management, as well as reducing energy consumption. It also emphasizes prevention and early care as essential pillars to reduce resource demand, steering the health system towards a resilient, sustainable model committed to environmental and social well-being.
The conference will feature top-tier international speakers and a program of lectures, debates, and discussions, which can be reviewed below:
