On Wednesday, October 28, the Third Annual CIMentos Assembly was held in the CITEXVI building on the Vigo Campus, organized by the Marine Research Center (CIM-UVigo). At this year’s event, our colleague Lizbet had the opportunity to present a scientific poster entitled “Predator identification of Mytilus galloprovinciallis in controlled laboratory experiments,” which addresses the predation of mussels by invertebrate species such as sea urchins and starfish, crabs, spider crabs, and snails, within the framework of the SIGMA project.
The event brought together researchers from different areas of marine biology, aquaculture, and oceanography, allowing them to explore future avenues for collaboration.
We would like to congratulate Lizbet on her participation and thank the CIM for providing this space for meeting and inspiration. This experience, in addition to raising the profile of our work, reinforces our commitment to research excellence and the transfer of knowledge towards the sustainability of marine ecosystems.
