This Friday, 26 September, our colleague Lizbet Gutiérrez will participate in G-Night 2025 (Galician Researchers’ Night), which will take place at the Redeiras Building and Berbés Square in Vigo, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
At the stand ‘Os animaliños das nosas praias e o seu adn’ (The animals of our beaches and their DNA), Lizbet, together with the team from the Evolutionary Genetics and Biodiversity Conservation Group (XB2) at CIM-UVigo, will offer an interactive activity for all ages. Attendees will be able to get up close to molluscs, echinoderms and crustaceans from our estuaries, observing them and even touching them with their own hands.
This activity is a unique opportunity to learn about Galician marine biodiversity and understand the importance of its conservation. Admission is free and open to the public, especially families interested in discovering the richness of our coastal ecosystems.
We encourage you to attend and support CIM-UVigo in this initiative that promotes accessible science and connection with nature.
